Our Philosophy
CORRMAT believes in providing fair value for a fair price and to minimize
bureaucracy, hidden costs and surcharges wherever possible. Routine sample
handling, storage and disposal as well as data reporting are included in the stated
prices. Additional charges will only be employed in circumstances where special
procedures are requested.

Confidentiality
a. Information that is provided by the customer in tangible form and marked as
being confidential and all results obtained by CORRMAT on behalf of the
customer will be held in confidence subject to any disclosure.
b. CORRMAT methods may from time to time be employed for testing
of customers’ samples on the understanding that no details regarding the
methodology or any other information considered confidential by CORRMAT
will be provided with the results.
c. Confidentiality agreements can be put in place to handle any special concerns,
upon request.

Sample Material Handling and Disposal
a. Sample materials provided by the customer will be stored and handled by
CORRMAT in a secure manner. Samples will normally be maintained in secure
storage for 60 days following completion of the requested analyses. Extended
sample storage is negotiable.
b. Disposal of excess sample materials is usually included in the price quoted for the
service and is conducted in an environmentally acceptable manner. Where there
are special disposal requests by the customer, these will be billed to the customer
or the unused portions of these materials will be returned to the customer at the
customer’s expense.

Reporting
Reporting of results will normally be via hard copy or e-mail at no additional
charge. A reasonable number of additional copies of reports will also be made
available upon request at no additional charge. Data base entry and electronic data
transfer are also available (an initial set-up fee may apply).


Turnaround Time
Turnaround time varies from service to service and is normally 2 to 4 weeks.
Urgent/rush requests will be handled on a priority basis and additional charges
may apply and will be negotiated at the time of request.


Prices/Payment
Prices quoted are in Canadian or US funds. Prices will be determined by the applicable
price schedule in effect on the date the services are rendered. Applicable taxes
will be additional to the quoted prices. Prices are subject to change without notice
but will be agreed upon at the time of the request. Payments will be made within
30 days from the date of CORRMAT’s invoices. Interest will be charged on
overdue accounts at the rate equal to 2% per month from the due date until paid.

Warranty
In providing testing services to the customer, CORRMAT shall make every effort
to provide accurate and timely results. The total liability for breach of the
foregoing warranty, if any, or otherwise for any losses, damages, claims or
demands arising out of the testing services performed for the customer by
CORRMAT is to redo the testing services in question at no additional cost to the
customer. In no event will the liability exceed the original cost of the testing
services in question.

Hold Harmless
Customer releases and shall save, indemnify, defend and hold CORRMAT, its
employees, officers, directors, agents harmless from any and all claims, demands,
actions, suits and costs whatsoever that may arise directly or indirectly out of the
making, using or selling of a product, process or service by or on behalf of the
customer, which was derived from or was based upon or incorporates results from
the testing services performed for the customer by CORRMAT.
The customer shall assume and be liable for its own losses, costs, damages and
expenses of any nature whatsoever which the customer may suffer, sustain, pay or
incur by reason of any matter or thing arising out of or in any way attributable to
the testing services performed for the customer by CORRMAT.

Force Majeure
Liability shall not arise from any failure or delay in performance caused by
circumstances beyond the control of CORRMAT, including but not limited to,
acts of God, fire, labour difficulties or governmental action.
